Gothic Bastard is a 2021 recipient of the University of the Arts Graphic Design Senior Capstone Citation of Excellence, awarded to the top 5 projects of the year.
The digital edition of the Gothic Bastard includes added animations that forward the information conveyed in the spread they are featured in, such as the animation of a broad-nib pen on a translation contrast model, or showing the evolution of the Blackletter W through different styles of Blackletter.
